2008 BASES Annual Conference Abstract Submission Steps
Step 1. Read the 2008 BASES Annual Conference Abstract Submission Guidelines
- These guidelines contain important information about rules for abstract submission, abstract layout and format.
- Example abstracts are also provided.
- Abstracts must not exceed 400 words.
- Please note that abstracts not complying with these guidelines will not be reviewed.
Step 2. Download the Abstract Submission Template
- This template allows the abstract review committee to 'hide' authors' names and institution names to ensure blind refereeing.
- Please note that abstracts that are not submitted using this template will not be reviewed.
Step 3. If submitting a Scientific Communication or Symposium, then complete the Taylor & Francis Agreement for the Transfer of Copyright
- All Scientific Communication or Symposium abstracts that wish to be considered will be considered for publication in the Journal of Sports Sciences need to have a signed agreement for the transfer of copyright. This enables Taylor & Francis to ensure protection against infringement.
- Transfer of copyright forms are not required for Applied Practice Presentations, Debates or Workshops abstracts as these are not considered for publication in the Journal of Sports Sciences.

Step 4. Submit your abstract via the on-line abstract submission form
- The on-line submission form available from 1 April 2008.
- The closing date for abstracts is 19 May 2008.
